Moderate intensity quake hits Doda district

JAMMU, Dec 19: A moderate intensity earthquake today rocked the mountainous Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Tremors were felt this morning in Doda district thus triggering panic among the people,” police sources here said.
They said the intensity of the quake was measured 4.3 on the Richter Scale.
The epicentre of the earthquake was 12 kilometres south-east of Bhaderwah in the Doda district.
“There was no loss of life or damage to property reported from anywhere across the district,” they added. (Agencies)
