JAMMU, Oct 15: Model Academy celebrated its Annual Sports Day with great enthusiasm on the theme “Ignited Minds: Run for Dreams,” dedicated to the birth anniversary of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. The event was graced by Renu Gupta, Chairperson MIER; Adit Gupta, Director; Rupa Gupta, Joint Director; Pramod Kumar Srivastava; JK Dhiman; Principal; Vice Principal; Academic Managers, teachers, and students.
The day began with a Guard of honour and march past by NCC cadets coordinated by Madhubala. Events followed wing-wise, beginning with Inclusive School children competing in the Balloon Race, Stars of Tomorrow and Earth Care Race, supported by Scouts and Guides. Humming Buds students lit up the field with the Planet Race, Missile Race and Dream Collectors Race. Primary Wing students participated in Seeds of Tomorrow, Knowledge Torch, Scientist Race, Hurdle Race, and Satellite Relay Race.
A special dance choreographed by Mohini captivated the audience. The event, coordinated by Swati Sharma with Nisha Sharma, Imran, Sahil, and the Student Council, concluded with medal distribution and a heartfelt vote of thanks by the Vice Head Girl.
