JAMMU, Jan 2: A mobile phone along with a headphone and an adapter was recovered from Central Jail Kot Bhalwal yesterday.
A police spokesperson said a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel spotted a polythene bag inside the prison around 3 pm yesterday.
“Accordingly, he informed the Gharota police to check the polythene bag,” he said, adding that when it (polythene bag) was opened, police recovered a dual sim phone without any sim in it, an earphone, and an adapter.
While police have registered a case under the relevant sections of the law and the seized phone has been sent to forensic experts for a detailed investigation.
