SRINAGAR, July 14: A delegation of the Jammu & Kashmir MLHP (Mid-Level Health Providers) Doctors Association, led by its president Dr Bilal Ahmad Dar, met the Mission Director of the National Health Mission (NHM), Baseer Ul Haq Choudhary (IAS), today in Srinagar to discuss pressing issues concerning MLHPs across the Union Territory.
During the meeting, the Association submitted a comprehensive memorandum highlighting major demands, including a Loyalty Bonus for MLHPs with 3 to 5 years of continuous service, performance-based incentives aligned with NHM guidelines, and urgent measures for career progression, job security, and professional development.
The Mission Director extended a patient hearing to the delegation. He assured the delegation that all its genuine and reasonable demands will be considered on priority and necessary steps will be initiated in a transparent and time-bound manner.
