MLC, Kuldeep Raj inaugurate sanitary complex at Rajouri

RAJOURI, Oct 5: Continuing the efforts to bring the Swacch Bharat Mission (SBM) to every nook and corner of the Rajouri district, the Member Legislative Council (MLC) Vibodh Gupta along with vice-chairman of State Advisory Board for Development of Pahari Speaking People, Kuldeep Raj Gupta today inaugurated a sanitary complex in the vicinity of Balidhan Bhawan, Rajouri.
Speaking on the occasion, Vibodh said that the Prime Minister (PM) Narendera Modi has launched this mission with a view to change the mindset of the people so that they must think to make their surroundings neat and clean. “It was due to the vision of PM that a large number of toilets and sanitary complexes were built in last two years across the country, which minimises the problem of open defecation to a greater extent and it further results in boosting the image of the country globally”, he said and added that the people must regularly participate in various sanitary drives which are being launched from time to time to make their lanes, wards, blocks, tehsils and districts in good shape
“Prime Minister Modi has launched Swacch Bharat mission and more and more number of people are joining the mission to clean surroundings all across the nation,” he added.
Kuldeep Raj Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that clean India is a project that is very close to the heart of the Prime Minister and is one of his pet projects. He also said that in our scripture we find mention of the fact that “cleanliness is next to Godliness.
Appreciating the efforts of MLC to meet the long pending demand of the Rajouri people, BJP district president Dinesh Sharma said that the Balidhan Bhawan was lacking a proper sanitary complex and the people are facing many problems while organising different congregational activities but now they  feel a sigh of relief.
Ex-municipal council chairman Rajinder Gupta, who were also present on the occasion, highlighted the policies and schemes of BJP Governments both in the State and Centre .
