RAMBAN, June 5: MLA Ramban, Neelam Kumar Langeh kick-started second stage blacktopping work of three km road from Batote to Rakhjarog in presence of large number of people and other senior officers of the R&B Department, today.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA said it was a long pending demand of the people of the area. The project was sanctioned at a cost of Rs.129.98 lacs including maintenance cost for five years of Rs188.92 lacs.
Langeh assured all the people of Rakhjarog to fulfill their all genuine demands soon and also complimented Union Minister in PMO, Dr.Jatindera Singh for sanctioning of many other roads under PMGSY Stage Second in hilly Constituency Ramban.
He further said that providing road connectivity to far flung areas of this hilly constituency is my priority and already existing roads to be macadamized and also efforts are going on to reach the last man of the constituency.
