RAJOURI, Nov 17: MLA Iftkhar Ahmed today inaugurated the drilling of a 200mm dia bore well, along with the installation of machinery and a storage tank, at the old bus stand.
The Rs 32 lakh project is part of ongoing efforts to improve the water supply infrastructure in Rajouri City.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Iftkhar Ahmed congratulated the people of Rajouri for this important development, which will ensure better access to clean water for local residents.
The event was attended by DCC working president Ashok Sharma, Khursheed Janam, Vijay Guru, Farooq Choudhary and concerned officials.
Local residents were also present at the inauguration and expressed their appreciation for the efforts of MLA Iftkhar Ahmed in bringing this project to fruition.
They praised the MLA for his continuous work towards improving the infrastructure and quality of life in the region.
