UDHAMPUR, Nov 28: MLA of Chenani Assembly Constituency, Balwant Singh Mankotia addressed a public darbar during special awareness camp for farmers and a free eye check-up camp by Rotary Hospital at Gauri Kund (Katwalta).
During the public darbar, Mankotia listened to the issues of the locals. He directed the concerned departments for immediate redressal of public issues.
While addressing the gathering, Mankotia informed that three new roads will soon be constructed under PMGSY in Gauri Kund (Katwalta) Panchayat, which will significantly improve connectivity for the residents. He further announced that under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), around 400 new houses have been sanctioned for the Panchayat, which will help uplift the living standards of rural families.
During the event, blankets and gas stoves were distributed among needy families.
Mankotia reiterated that providing basic amenities to the people is his top priority and that no delay in development works will be tolerated. He also urged the public to continue extending their support.
