MLA launches black-topping work on link road

JAMMU, May 27: Legislator and former Minister, Chander Prakash Ganga, today launched blacktopping work on a link road from Chack Balotra to Kullian which would be executed with an estimated cost of Rs. 18 lakh under City and Town programme.
Ganga, while speaking on the occasion, said that the Government is working tirelessly towards extending enhanced basic services to every part of the state with emphasis on unattended and far off areas. “The border belts are being provided better infrastructure and other requisite facilities and all the genuine demands of these people are being given priority by the administration so that they may not feel neglected as they experienced during past regimes”, he asserted.
The MLA, while responding to people’s demands, informed that the concerned authorities have been asked to initiate speedy work on local community hall, development of cremation ground and construction of lanes and drains in the area.
Regarding establishment of Degree College in Vijaypur under RUSA, the MLA said that his priority would be to open the institute at Ramgarh. He, however, asked the concerned officers to identify state land for construction of the college at the earliest so that the further process of land transferring is initiated.
Ganga said that since the formation of the Coalition Government in the state it was our commitment to ensure a corruption free administration to the people and everyone can see that we have victoriously succeeded in that objective.
Executive Engineer PWD, K. S. Nathyal, Executive Engineer PDD Vijaypur, Narotam Kumar, Tehsildar Ramgarh, Romesh Bakshi, Block Development Officer, Ramgarh, Mukesh Sharma accompanied the MLA besides Subedar Narayan Sìngh, Darshan Singh and many others were present on the occasion.
