MLA kick starts work of lane, drain

UDHAMPUR, May 27: MLA Udhampur Pawan Kumar Gupta today kick started work on lane and drain from house of  Puran Chand to Lohar Mohalla, Upper Dhanori thus fulfilling a long pending demand of residents of Lohar Mohalla.
The work comprises  of 607 feet length with an estimated cost of Rs 3.00 lakh. The MLA was  accompanied by BDO Udhampur and other officials of Rural Department
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA reiterated his resolve to make Udhampur as a model Assembly constituency. He said that development of Udhampur was his topmost priority for which he has entered into the politics and given mandate by the people.
Several locals also spoke on the occasion and expressed their gratitude to the MLA for fulfilling their long pending demand.
The prominent persons, including  Raj Kumar Buccha, Raju Chandial, Rohit Sethi, Ashok Kumar Chalotra,  Sham Lal, Sansar Chand, Kaka Ram, Puspa Devi, Bakti Devi, Sema Devi, Arti,  Ripi and many more were present on this occasion.
