KATRA, June 9: Fulfilling long-pending demands of the local residents and strengthening the power infrastructure in the area, MLA Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Constituency, Baldev Raj Sharma, today inaugurated two newly installed electricity transformers in Panchayat Kotli Bajalian and Panchayat Dadura.
A 250 KVA transformer installed at Panchayat Kotli Bajalian at an estimated cost of Rs 19 lakh and a 63 KVA transformer installed at Panchayat Dadura at an estimated cost of Rs 12 lakh were inaugurated by the MLA.
The projects were inaugurated in the presence of officers of the Power Development Department (PDD), BDC Chairman Chander Mohan Singh, Sunita Prasher, Sardari Lal Dubey, Sarpanch Santosh Kumari, Sarpanch Sudesh Sharma, Sarpanch Mangal Singh, Bobby Sharma and other prominent local residents.
The residents expressed gratitude to the MLA Baldev Raj Sharma for addressing these long-pending demands and ensuring improved electricity supply in their respective areas.
