RAMBAN, Mar 15: MLA Ramban Neelam Langeh today inaugurated the exhibition-cum-Kissan Mela at Ramban which was organized under Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA).
The MLA, who was the chief guest on the occasion urged the farmers to take the advantage of the schemes of the Department meant for the welfare of farming community.
He urged the officers of Agriculture Department to give thrust to those crops which can yield good produce in Kandi belt and rain fed areas. Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Arvind Kirvani, Chief Agriculture Officer Sunil Koul and K K Koul who is technical know how about Mushroom Bio fertilizer and organic farming were also present on the occasion.
The prospective farmers from different areas of the District participated in the Mela.
