JAMMU, Mar 15: After getting autonomous status, Government College for Women, Parade Jammu, has declared its maiden result of Semester – I for the session 2014 -2015.
Sarita Chauhan, Commissioner Secretary Higher Education, formally launched the on-line result on College website and released the result gazette in the presence of Prof Tariq Ahmed Kawoosa, Director Colleges and Prof Hemla Aggrawal, Principal GCW Parade.
Sarita Chauhan in her address, stressed upon the all round development of students in the sphere of knowledge, self assessment and quality education. She also spoke on women empowerment and lauded the effort of Government in providing the autonomous status to the college.
Pertinent to mention here that GCW Parade was accorded autonomous status by the UGC last year thus allowing the institute to frame its own curricula and prepare results.
