RAMNAGAR, Apr 15: Aimed at connecting every village and transforming them into self-reliant and developed units, the MLA Ramnagar, Dr Sunil Bhardwaj today inaugurated the blacktopping work of Barta-Chanunta-Bhugtrian road in the gracious presence of local representatives and a large gathering of enthusiastic residents.
The completion of this road project was a long-pending demand of the public, as the road had remained in a severely dilapidated condition for years.
Potholes, uneven surfaces and poor maintenance had made daily commuting extremely challenging, particularly for school-going children, elderly residents and employees, who depend on this route for their livelihood.
During adverse weather conditions, the situation would worsen, often disrupting essential connectivity and posing safety risks.
Importantly, this vital road stretch serves as a key link connecting several prominent villages of the Ramnagar constituency, including Chanunta, Panjgrain, Ghordi, Chowki, Badhole as well as Ramnagar town and other adjoining areas.
By strengthening rural connectivity network, the project will play a crucial role in enhancing rural mobility, boosting local trade and integrating these villages more effectively with the main town.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Bhardwaj reiterated his commitment to holistic development and assured the public that more such infrastructure projects are in the pipeline to further strengthen connectivity across the constituency.
He emphasized that development at the grassroots level remains a top priority and that every effort is being made to ensure that no village is left behind.
On this occasion, the local residents expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Dr Bhardwaj for taking up this much-needed initiative.
They acknowledged his continuous efforts towards addressing public grievances and improving basic infrastructure in the region.
