SRINAGAR, Mar 1: Member Legislative Assembly, Gulmarg, Mohammad Abbas Wani, today chaired an officers meeting convened to take a comprehensive review of State and Centrally sponsored schemes under different sectors in Gulmarag constituency.
Joint Director Planning A G Malik, SE, PHE, Assistant Commissioner Development, Chief Medical officer, District Panchayat Officer, Engineers from various departments, BDOs of Gulmarag constituency and other officers attended the meeting.
The meeting was informed by ACD that under MGNREGA various Culverts, Drains, Roads and mini stadiums have been constructed by the department during the fiscal.
The MLA reviewed progress under schemes like NRDWP, MLPAD and BADP and directed the officers to gear up the pace of works executed in the constituency under these schemes and progress report may be submitted in time bound manner.
He directed the executing agencies to accelerate the pace of work and ensure timely completion of the development projects. MLA stressed on greater transparency in implementation of works and judicious use of funds. He called for proper coordination among concerned departments for effective and timely completion of developmental projects.
