CHENANI, July 28: MLA Chenani, Dina Nath Bhagat today distributed sewing machines and solar lights to the beneficiaries of Social Welfare Centre under Special Central Assistance to Tribal Sub Plan (SCA to TSP) in a function organized by the Social Welfare Department, Udhampur.
SDM Chenani, DSWO Udhampur, Tehsildar Chenani, SDPO Chenani, BDO Chenani, Range Officer, ZEPO and all other sectoral officers were present on the occasion.
While addressing the gathering, the MLA asked common masses to come forward and avail maximum benefit of State and Centrally sponsored schemes by participating in large numbers in such functions organised by the various Government departments.
He further directed the officers of the concerned departments to create awareness among the people about these schemes.
