KATRA/REASI, Feb 22: MLA Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Constituency, Baldev Raj Sharma along with DDC Chairman, Saraf Singh Nag here today inaugurated two major road projects in the Constituency.
The first project, was for the road from Sujandhar to Dangakote via Mohalli Talab (Phase-I, 10 km) under NABARD, has a Technical Sanction amount of Rs. 1920.70 lakh. This vital road will benefit thousands of residents from Sujandhar, Dangakote, Mohalli Talab and adjoining villages.
The second project was of road from Bakal to Saranapora (3 km) under NABARD, has a Technical Sanction of Rs. 612.37 lakh and it will provide much-needed connectivity to Bakal, Saranapora and nearby hamlets.
The inauguration ceremony was held in the presence of officers and officials of the PWD Department Reasi, Mandal president Bhomag BJP, Bhuri Singh Nag, Sarpanch Devigarh Pawan Singh, Ex-Sarpanch Sersundwan Amar Nath, Ex-Sarpanch Chain Singh, Romesh Bhagat and prominent locals of the concerned Panchayats.
Speaking on the occasion, Saraf Singh Nag highlighted that these projects were long-pending demands of the people and their completion marks a significant step towards strengthening rural infrastructure in Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Constituency.
Baldev Raj Sharma reiterated his commitment to ensure balanced and inclusive development across the Constituency.
