JAMMU, Dec 9: MLA Bani Jewan Lal called on Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and raised various issues concerning his constituency people with her.
The MLA demanded creation of separate Tourism Development Authority for hilly areas of Bani, Basholi and Billawar and creation of Municipal Community for Bani.
He also raised the issue of Gaddi speaking Koli community and demanded grant of ST status to them, representation to Gaddi and Sippi communities in advisory boards, hostel facilities for all ST students as is given to Gujjar and Bakerwal students.
The issue of Sub Categories within in ST category for admission of different professional colleges in the State was also raised by him before CM.
