LUCKNOW, Apr 14: Launching her Mission 2017 campaign on the 125th birth anniversary of Dr B R Ambedkar by hitting out at BJP, Congress and the Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party supreme Mayawati today said the party only target is come to power in Uttar Pradesh, to end the woes of people of the state.    “Muslims, backwards and upper caste should support the BSP in 2017 Assembly elections of the state, as BJP government at the Centre and the SP government in UP have failed to end the miseries of people, she added.    Ms Mayawati, in an aggressive speech, claimed that BJP is on a downfall trend in the country for its failure  to fulfill the promise of   Acche din, while UP government promoted criminalisation during its over three-year regime.
She also pulled the opposition parties for celebrating the 125 birth anniversary of Dr Ambedkar.     Besides, Ms Mayawati said that when the entire country is reeling under severe crisis due to unseasonal rains leading to mass deaths of farmers, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is enjoying his foreign trip and similarly, UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav too is going on a foreign trip. These parties have no concern for the farmers, she alleged, adding that handing over a cheque of Rs 63 and similar to the farmers as compensation for their crop loss is a joke with poor people of the state.       Revealing that there is a nexus between the BJP and SP, the BSP president said, I can predict that before the 2017 Assembly polls, there would be a stage managed communal violence in UP, so that both the BJP as well as SP get political mileage.
Addressing a gathering at Dr B R Ambedkar Samajik Parivartan Sthal here on the occasion of  125th birth anniversary of  Dr Ambedkar, Ms Mayawati, who faced a debacle in the Lok Sabha polls, again championed for  Bhaichara agenda to connect the upper caste and others in the party fold in the coming assembly polls.
She also alleged that in order to woo the Dalit voters, BJP could announce Bharat Ratna for BSP founder Kanshi Ram before the 2017 Assembly polls, for which her party is demanding for the past several years.       The BSP president charged the BJP of targeting the Muslims through  Shiv Sena. The recent statement in Shiv Sena mouthpiece Samana that voting rights of the Muslims should be withdrawn to avoid vote politics,is a conspiracy against the minorities and a clear violation of the Constitution.
She demanded that BJP should immediately throw out the Shiv Sena from the coalition government at the Centre otherwise if would be be proved that they are behind the conspiracy.       On the occasion Mayawati challenged the media and the opposition parties for spreading fake news that she had floated some companies and even owned a new channel or a news papers.
I  will resign from politics if anyone can prove that there is any company or news channel in my name. If my family members run a business, then it is not of my concern, she claimed.
She also alleged that media would again rake up controversy on BSP before the elections like they have done in the past.       “The raking up the old fake statement of  Kanshi Ram that he suggested construction of toilet at the disputed site in Ayodhya or BSP leadership collecting money through donations or selling the assembly and Lok Sabha tickets, she said while clarifying that Kanshi Ram had never gave such statement and the funds is collected by the party through donations as we don’t take funds from industrial houses.  (UNI)
