JAMMU, Jan 25: A youth missing from Bhagwati Nagar since January 16, 2015, was today found dead in Badi Tawi near 4th bridge.
According to a police spokesperson, the youth identified as Stanzin Kunga son of Teswang Taldon, a resident of Zanskar in Kargil (at present Bhagwati Nagar), went missing from his temporary residence at Bhagwati Nagar on January 16, 2015 following which a missing complaint was registered at police post Bhagwati Nagar.
This morning, the decomposed body of the missing youth was spotted by some locals, who informed the police. On getting information, a police team from police post Bhagwati Nagar, reached the spot and shifted the body to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for post mortem. After post mortem, the body was handed over to its legal heirs for last rites.
Meanwhile, Bhagwati Nagar police has registered a case under relevant sections and started investigation.
