UDHAMPUR, Sept 15: A youth, missing for the last six days, was today found hanging from a tree in forest area at village Rakh Sansu, under the jurisdiction of Rehambal Police Station.
According to Police, Mohd Akhtar alias Munni (29), son of Shaiya Khan of village Magani in Udhampur, was found hanging from a tree in forest area under mysterious circumstances.
The body was spotted by some locals, who informed the Police, which shifted the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur for postmortem and other legal formalities.
Rehambal Police has registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
The deceased was missing for the last six days.
Meanwhile, two persons were injured in a collision of Motorcycle with a Scooter near T Morh on the National Highway, here today.
The injured were identified as Pardeep Kumar, son of Ashok Kumar of Garhi and S C Gosh.
