KISHTWAR, Dec 21: A missing youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Margan Top area, here today.
As per police sources, a youth identified as Bashir Ali, son of Ali Nazar, a resident of Nowgam Marwah was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Margan Top area.
After getting information, police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to hospital, where after conducting autopsy, it was handed over to family members for last rites.
The deceased was on his way to Srinagar on December 11 by foot from Marwah-Margan Top-Anantnag route and since then was missing. He might have died due to cold as his frozen body was recovered, but exact reason could be ascertained after investigation completed.
Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
