JAMMU, Apr 5: Arnia police under ‘Operation Muskaan’ reunited a missing person with his family members.
As per police sources, on April 3 this year, a man was found roaming under suspicious circumstances during night hours near BOP Bulechak, Arnia.
BSF authorities of Coy of 192 Battalion apprehended the person and handed over to Police Station Arnia for further investigation.
During preliminary, Arnia police traced out the whereabouts of the person with very hectic and sincere efforts as the language of the person was not understandable.
Accordingly, Arnia police made a contact with Incharge Police Post 08 Marla Panipat and succeeded in establishing contact with the family members of the missing person, who were residing at Raj Nagar, Panipat, Haryana.
The missing person identified as Kedarnath (52), son of Chhawi Nath of Panipat, Haryana was handed over to his family members by Arnia police today after completing legal formalities.
Police team led by SHO Arnia Inspector Deepak Pathania reunited the missing person with the family under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Sourabh Prasher, SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
