JAMMU, Apr 18: A minor girl, who went missing from Fattu Chogan area, falling under the jurisdiction of Pacca Danga police station has been recovered.
As per police sources, family members of a girl hailing from Fattu Chogan area lodged a complaint with police station Pacca Danga stating that their 15-year-old daughter has went missing.
Acting over the complaint, a case under Section 363 RPC was registered at Pacca Danga police station and manhunt was launched to trace-out the minor.
On specific information, a team from Pacca Danga police station conducted raid in Domana area and recovered the minor girl within 24 hours and saved her from falling in bad hands.
The girl has been restored to family members after completing legal formalities.
Police team led by SHO Pacca Danga Inspector Ajay Bhat recovered the minor girl under the supervision of SDPO City Vivek Shekhan Sharma.
