Srinagar, Apr 5: The body of 42-year-old Jumma Bimla son of Ghulam Qadir of Paru-Adigam, Anantnag, was retrieved from a river in Kokernag area of the district.
A police spokesman said he was missing from April 1 after he had gone to fetch grass from a nearby forest and did not come back.
Police has registered FIR number 21/2014 under Section 365, 302 RPC and investigation has been taken up to ascertain the cause of death, the spokesman said.
