UDHAMPUR, Apr 22: A missing man has been found dead from river Tawi, falling under the jurisdiction of Chenani Police Station.
As per police sources, police recovered body of a man identified as Bal Braham Dev (55), son of Ram Tirath of Sudh Mahadev from river Tawi.
He was missing for the past five days and it is assumed that he got washed away in recent flash floods.
After conducting autopsy at Critical Health Centre (CHC) Chenani, the body has been handed over to family members for last rites.
Chenani police has started inquest proceedings in this regards.
