DODA, Aug 17: Kashtigarh police traced out a missing boy.
As per police spokesman, on March 21, 2016, a complaint was lodged by Bhagat Ram, son of Gopi Bhagat of Bhartund tehsil Kastigarh with Kashtigarh police post regarding kidnapping of his 14-year-old son namely Surjeet Kumar by some persons.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 46/16 under Section 363 RPC was registered at police station Doda and investigation started.
The complainant had leveled allegations that his son might have been killed by kidnapers. A candle light march was also taken out by the civil society.
During the investigation it came to fore that Surjeet Kumar was working as home helper in the house of Mohan Lal of Bhartund and on January 1, 2015, he left the house of Mohan Lal and disappeared.
Police called all the alleged persons mentioned in the complaint by the complainant for questioning but nothing fruitful yielded.
Finally, a team from police post Kashtigarh traced out the boy from Delhi, where he was working in a hotel at his own will since his disappearance.
Police team led by Incharge Kashtigarh police post SI Firdoos Ahmed traced out the missing boy under the supervision of and SHO Doda Inspector Bishnesh Kumar, DySP Headquarters Doda Iftkhar Ahmed, Additional SP Doda Vinay Kumar and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
