Miss India audition winners say ‘will make Jammu proud’

JAMMU, Mar 19: Fbb Femina Miss India 2018 Jammu audition winners today exuded confidence that they will make Jammu proud by winning the title this time.
Simar Kaur, Malika Kapoor and Deepshikha Sharma, who were selected in auditions held yesterday in which about 80 talented girls from various parts of the State participated, said that that they want to change the notion that girls from a small town like Jammu cannot give fight to high status girls of metro cities in this big event.
They expressed confidence that all three of them will not only give a tough fight to metro girls but also make the Jammu proud by winning the title. They were speaking on the sidelines of a function, which was organized by Big Bazaar at its Jammu store to honour them.

Honouring the winners of Jammu audition, Neeraj Kumar, North Zone Marketing head, Big Bazaar, said, “It is a remarkable achievement for these girls to be selected among so many talented participants and I am sure that they will go on to perform really well at final too”. He informed that Fbb, India’ leading fashion retail store is the title sponsor of the Femina Miss India 2018 contest.
“No doubt we are from a small town but our ambitions are high and we will definitely able to win the title for J&K”, Simran Kaur, one of the three winners of the Jammu auditions said. “This is just beginning and our aspirations are high but nothing could be said right now about pursuing in glamour world”, she said in reply to a question of trying her luck in Bollywood.
Deepshikha Sharma, another winner of Jammu auditions said that she belong to a Kashmiri Pandit family and is an engineer by profession. “Though I am a fashion blogger but I never thought of participating in Miss India contest, but this win has given wings to my dreams and now with every passing day I am becoming more determined to win this title for my State”, she added.
“I born and brought up in a middle class family of Jammu but my parents supported me at every moment and respected every decision of mine, whether it was of doing a job in Bangalore or participating in Miss India 2018 contest”, third winner of Jammu auditions, Malika Kapoor, said. She said that just now her target is to do well in North Zonal Crowning ceremony to be held on April 12 in New Delhi, wherein girls from all the Northern states will compete with each other.
“It does not matter who from all three of us wins the title, as aim of all three of us is to make the Jammu proud”, she added.
