JAMMU, Nov 27: Bus Stand police returned misplaced Rs 80,000 cash to its owner.
As per police sources, a person namely Jagdish Raj of Saila Talab District Udhampur lodged a report at Police Station Bus Stand stating that he has lost/misplaced Rs 80,000 cash while travelling from Udhampur to Jammu.
Acting over the complaint, a special team under the guidance of SHO Police Station Bus Stand Inspector JJ Bhagat was framed.
The police team inquired and checked all the buses of Udhampur to Jammu route and finally were found the Rs 80,000 cash in one of the buses.
The cash was handed over to the owner after completing all the legal formalities.
