JAMMU, Mar 12: Panic gripped Mandir mohalla of Domana area when some unidentified persons opened fire in air late evening today.
“Some locals of the area spotted a big car in their area and started questioning the people sitting inside the vehicle”, SDPO Domana Sandeep Mehta said.
The persons came out and opened fire in air and later fled from the spot, he added.
“The registration number of the car has been identified and we are trying to the trace the vehicle along with the people sitting inside at the time of the incident,” the SDPO added.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Domana police station and further investigation into the case is going on.
