SRINAGAR : A group of miscreants made unsuccessful attempt to loot Automated Teller Machine (ATM) on the city outskirts during the intervening night of August 25 and 26, official sources said today.
They said miscreants tried to break open the ATM of Jammu and Kahmir Bank (JKB) at Umar-Hair, Bachpora on the city outskirts.
However, residents in the nearby area immediately raised an alarm, the sources said, adding that later the miscreants managed to escape under the cover of darkness.
Police has registered a case and started investigation, they said. (AGENCIES)
