SRINAGAR, June 26: All India Congress Committee General Secretary Ghulam Ahmad Mir today dismissed reports of internal rifts within the party, asserting that “everything is fine within the party ranks.”
Speaking at a party function in Srinagar, Mir said that there were no divisions in the Jammu and Kashmir unit of the Congress and described the organization as united and functioning smoothly.
When asked about some workers reportedly raising slogans during the event, Mir said he was unaware of the incident but reiterated, “Everything is fine within the Congress party.” He further stated that the party office is open to all Congress workers and supporters who follow the party’s ideology.
