Anantnag, Oct 21: Minister for Tourism, Ghulam Ahmad Mir today said that coalition formation is committed to equal development of three regions of the State and six years achievements are witness of this.
This was stated by the Minister while addressing several public gatherings in Dooru constituency today.
The Minister also inaugurated High School Building at Shalnaad, PHC at Bumdooru besides newly established Naiyabats in the constituency. Highlighting the developmental projects completed during this period, the Minister said that holding of Panchayat elections in the state are among the best achievements of present Government. He said a massive programme for creation of tourism infrastructure was started to promote tourism sector in the state.
The minister said that several educational and health institutions were upgraded in the constituency besides granting sub division status to Dooru and setting up of new Nayabats and CD blocks. He said several road and water supply schemes were also completed in the constituency while some are at completion stages.
Referring the recent devastations of floods, the minister said that every effort was made for provision of relief and rehabilitation of affected families. Regarding forth coming elections, the minister appealed people to take part in the elections to defeat the communal forces.
