Minority Forum for early release of relief to KPs

JAMMU, Feb 12: Minority Forum of State unit of Samajwadi Party (SP) today demanded the Government to release relief for the month of February to Kashmiri Pandits (KPs) residing in Jagti Township in view of coming Shivratri Festival.
The Forum in its meeting held here today at Jagti (Nagrota) also demanded the Government to make ration and other arrangements for the KPs at Jagti.
The general secretary of the Forum, Inderjee Laboo alleged that Jagti inmates are suffering for want of ration and other basic amenities besides irregular power and water supply.
He demanded the Government to take immediate steps for restoration of regular power and water supply in the Township besides providing medicines and paramedical staff in the dispensary, which he alleged has become defunct for want of the same.
