SRINAGAR, Mar 17: Police today said a minor was killed while two others were injured in two separate road accidents in North Kashmir.
A police spokesman said a minor boy namely Munawar Hussain, who was de-boarding from a vehicle bearing registration number JK01E-8578 at Shalpora in Dangerpora area of Sumbal in Bandipora district, was run over by the said vehicle and died on spot. “After completion of legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
The spokesman said a motorcycle bearing registration number JK09-3930 hit and injured a lady namely Amina and her minor baby namely Sadaf Ashraf near Hiri in Trehgam area of Kupwara district. “Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
