JAMMU, Sept 1: A minor girl was raped by a youth in the area falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Miran Sahib here.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a lady with Police Station Miran Sahib stating that a youth identified as Kaka of Phinder trespassed into her house and raped her 15-year-old daughter forcibly when she was alone at home. The accused rapist managed to escape from the spot after committing the heinous crime.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 102/2021 under Sections 376 and 452 IPC and 4 Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act has been registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and hunt has been launched to nab the alleged rapist.
