JAMMU, June 4: A nine-year-old boy was killed this evening in a road mishap in Nagrota area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, Sahil (9) son of Raju, a resident of Bihar, at present residing in Panjgrian (Nagrota), was walking along the NHW-1A when a rashly driven car bearing registration number JK02AV-2399 hit him at Panjgrain, resulting into his on the spot death.
“The body of the deceased boy was shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for post mortem”, the spokesman said, adding a case in this connection was registered at police station Nagrota and the car involved in the accident seized while efforts were on to nab the accused car driver, who was on large.
