KATHUA, Dec 24: Two persons were killed including a minor boy, while one another was injured in accidents.
As per police sources, a minor boy was killed, while his sister got injured, when a tralla driven by Darshan Kumar of Majalta, district Udhampur hit them near village Pacca Kotha on Dayalachack-Ramkote road, when they were crossing the road.
The injured identified as Banisha (8), daughter of Vijay Kumar of village Pacca Kotha was shifted to nearby hospital, from where she was referred to GMCH Jammu for advanced treatment.
The body of the deceased identified as Ankush Kumar (6), son of Vijay Kumar has been handed over to family members after conducting autopsy at SDH Hiranagar.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Hiranagar Police Station and driver of the tralla has been arrested.
However, the residents of village Pacca Kotha has expressed resentment over the accidents taking place on Dayalachack-Ramkote Road. They also flayed Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) for initiating action against the rashly driven vehicles on this road.
Meanwhile, a driver was killed, when the tractor trolley he was driving rolled down into gorge near Bani.
The deceased has been identified as Niyamat Ullah, a resident of district Doda. His body has been shifted to mortuary of PHC Bani for autopsy.
Bani police has taken cognizance in this regard.
