DODA, May 22: Four persons including a minor girl received injuries, when the Alto car they were traveling in, skidded off the road and plunged into gorge near Prem Nagar here this evening.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK14-0229 was on its way from Doda to Kishtwar, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it landed into gorge near Prem Nagar, resulting into injuries to four persons.
After getting information, police and locals rushed to the spot and started rescue operation. All the injured were shifted to District Hospital Doda, where they were responding to the treatment, when reports last came in.
The injured have been identified as Ghulam Mohammad (40), son of Ghulam Ali, Sharefa Begum (30), wife of Ghulam Hussain, Mohammad Hussain (45), son of Mohammad Ramzan and Rashida Bano (3), daughter of Mohammad Hussain, all residents of Dachhan, Kishtwar.
A case in this regard has been registered at Doda police station and investigation started.
