JAMMU, June 5: Eight persons were injured, when the mini-bus they were traveling in turned turtle near Digiana, falling under the jurisdiction of Gandhi Nagar police station, here this evening.
The ill-fated mini-bus bearing registration number JK02AT-6697 was on its way to Bishnah from Jewel, when it turned turtle near Industrial Estate Digiana due to drivers negligence, resulting into injuries to eight persons.
On getting information, police and locals rushed to the spot, started rescue operation and shifted the injured to Gandhi Nagar hospital and Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where their condition was stated to be stable, when last reports came in.
The injured have been identified as Komal, Babli, Ravinder, Yashpal, Priyanka, Bodh Raj and Geeta.
A case has been registered at Gandhi Nagar police station and investigation started.
