JAMMU, May 25: The annual Chhari Yatra of Maa Chandi (Mindhal Yatra) is commencing from more than century old Maa Chandi Temple, Blassu Doda, on June 1.
The Yatra will reach at Maa Chandi Mool Sathan Mindhal Pangi, Himachal Pradesh, on June 3 after a night stay at Kishtwar on June 1 and Maha Kali Temple, Sohal (Padder) on June 2. On June 4, Hawan, Bhandara and Bhaderwahi Kud (Mindhal Mela) will be held during the day and jagran at the night. The Chhari Yatra will reach back at Maa Chandi Temple, Blassu Doda on June 6.
This was disclosed by president, Aadishakti Devi Chandika Sewak Sanstha (ADCSS), Blassu Doda during a press conference. He informed that approximately 143 years ago the Chhari had reached at Village Blassu Doda from Panchi Dhar Mindhal (HP) through late Ram Krishan who remained devoted himself for the service of Maa Bhagwati Chandi for his life time.
