Mimangs-Si-Sjabstogs: Administration at Your Doorstep Held at Ney Village

LEH, Nov 10: Under the “Mimangs-Si-Sjabstogs” (Administration at Your Doorstep) initiative, a public outreach camp was organised at Ney village to bring government services closer to the people.

Nodal Officer (DFO Leh), Mohd Ali, welcomed the villagers and briefed them about the objectives of the programme, emphasising the administration’s commitment to ensure that essential schemes and welfare benefits reach every household at the grassroots.
Officers from various departments interacted with the villagers, reviewed grievances, and spread awareness about ongoing schemes. The Power Development Department noted the need for a 250 KV transformer and promoted the Solar Rooftop Scheme.
The Social Welfare Department informed about the Electric Scooter subsidy, wheelchair assistance, and pension and scholarship benefits.
The Agriculture Department discussed irrigation and greenhouse subsidies, while villagers reiterated their demand for chemical fertilisers. The PHE Department addressed the drinking water crisis and progress under the Jal Jeevan Mission.

The Forest Department and Soil Conservation Department also informed villagers about various government schemes and subsidies available under their sectors.
Villagers raised the issue of the collapsed BSNL tower, urging early restoration. The Health Department created awareness on Golden Card and ABHA schemes, while other departments including Labour, CAPD, ICDS, Cooperative, and Handicrafts briefed the public on their respective programmes.
Officers assured that all grievances were noted for timely redressal, reaffirming the administration’s resolve to deliver public services efficiently through such outreach initiatives under Mimangs-Si-Sjabstogs.
