SRINAGAR: Militants made an abortive bid to attack a police station in south Kashmi district of Anantnag by hurling a hand grenade which did not explode today, official sources said.
They said militants hurled a hand grenade towards police station Wanpoh in Kulgam district. However, the grenade did not explode, they said, adding the area was sealed and later Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) defused the grenade without causing any damage. (AGENCIES)
