SRINAGAR: Security forces today arrested a militant and recovered a live grenade from his possession in South Kashmir district of Pulwama.
A CRPF spokesperson said that following specific information about movement of militants in the area, a checkpoint was established by 180 Battalion of Central Reserve Police Force and Special Operation Group (SOG) of State police at Nowdel Tral in Pulwama.
He said security forces intercepted a vehicle at the checkpoint and arrested a militant, identified as Fardose Ahmad, along with a grenade. (AGENCIES)
