JAMMU, Mar 13: A delegation of Kashmiri migrants led by S K Raina secretary, PDP Trade Union and Sunil Bhat today called on patron of the Party and former Chief Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed here today and discussed various issues of the Kashmiri migrants with him.
The delegation informed him that the Government has failed to solve the problems of the migrants especially in implementing the PM’s employment package in full.
It informed Mr Sayeed that hundreds of KP youth have no source of income and they are in total desperation. Further the voter lists are full of mistakes and the names of bonafide Kashmiri Pandits are missing in the lists while the new voters have not been registered. Moreover a large number of migrants have not received the photo Identity cards so far and this can create an impediment in free exercise of the right to vote.
Other members of delegation included T K Raina, Chuni Lal Aima, Raj Kumar Razdan, Bansi Lal Kaul, Dr B L Raina and Vijay Bhat.
