According to Sunil Pandita and Vijay Koul two social activists the Kashmiri migrants have been denied ration for last three months for unknown reasons. They said those migrant families who are totally dependent on cash doles from Government are facing many hardships due to suspension of ration.
They said it seems that administration is totally non serious in settling the issues of Kashmiri migrants who entered 34th year of migration. The entire exiled community is in distress as its future has turned totally bleak after the mass exodus of the community in 1989-90. Instead of taking concrete steps in its rehabilitation in Kashmir Valley with honour and dignity, the administration is compounding its problems further.
They demanded immediate release of ration of last three months and also settling of other demands of displaced people form Valley.
