Migrants appeal Govt to settle other problems

JAMMU, May 6: Expressing its satisfaction over the enhancement of relief the Jagti Coordination Committee (JCC), relief holders Jagti and Welfare Committee Sharda Colony Sector Two have appealed the Government to settle the other long pending demands of the displaced people.
In their separate statements JCC president Ravi Zutshi, relief holders representative, Ajay Bhat and Sharda Colony Sector 2 president Nana Ji said that the State Government including Relief and Rehabilitation Minister and Relief Commissioner took keen interest in enhancement of relief. They expressed the hope that in the same way they will work for redressal of other problems of displaced people which included their honourable and dignified rehabilitation, settlement of problems of migrants living in camps and non camp area, construction of more quarters, implementation of PM’s package and one time compensation to over aged youth for their rehabilitation.
JCC leader demanded that parks in Jagti township be developed and renovation work of quarters be taken up in hand. It complimented the PHE Department for construction of dug wells in Jagti.
