KATHUA, Nov 16: A migrant labourer was crushed to death by a rashly driven Maruti car at Dayala Chak this afternoon.
He has been identified as Salman Mohammed, 24, son of Mohammad Adis of Rampur UP. He was working as a labourer in Hiranagar tehsil of Kathua district. Today when he was going to his routine work in the afternoon a rashly driven car bearing registration number JK02AQ 7283 crushed him at Dayala Chak National Highway. The driver of the car fled from the spot but the car was seized by the police which also took the dead body in its custody.
The Hiranagar Police has registered a case under Section 304 IPC and started investigation.
