Micky takes exception to malafide campaign against him

JAMMU, Mar 17: Arvinder Singh Micky, former Deputy Chairman of J&K Legislative Council, today took exception to the malafide campaign launched against him in the Print Media regarding construction of flyover and expansion of road at BC Road and Janipur area.
Talking to press-persons at Press Club here today Mr Micky said as presiding officer and MLC he had raised the issue of flyover and expansion of BC Road, which was well on the record.
He added that even during District Development Board meetings he also raised the same issue, which was the need of the time and he had even offered to get razed the compound wall of his house  and requisite land be acquired at an earliest as the said project was to be financed by Asian Development Bank.
Mr Micky also spelt out his other endeavours for repair and maintenance of several roads from New Plots to Janipur and in the process met the Minister for Roads and Buildings so that people of the area could have a sigh of relief from the hardships they were facing.
He advocated the stand of Congress Party for overall development of the State.
