Metro Train from Amphalla to Akhnoor demanded

JAMMU, Sept 6: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) activists here today staged a protest demonstration against PWD (Road and Building Department) and Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC).
The protest was led by JWAM president, Sunil Dimple who demanded construction of Ring Road and starting work on Metro train from Amphalla-Manda to Janipur High Court to Akhnoor.
He said that traffic problem has increased in the area and the police is harassing people and remains busy in collecting heavy fines even in the time of this pandemic.
Dimple said that condition of Amphalla-New plot and Janipur High Court road is worst and traffic problem is at peak.
He demanded immediate blacktopping of all main roads of Jammu West Assembly Constituency.
The JWAM leader claimed that JMC is charging heavy tax from the business people but has very poor performance.
He threatened protest against drinking water meters and smart PDD meters if these are installed.
Dimple demanded installation of mercury light and CCTV cameras on poles of all main roads in the city.
